We will strive to increase job satisfaction for our employees by encouraging them to pass on their skills and obtain qualifications to improve their skills.As part of our in-house training, we eliminate discrimination and violence through our regular harassment training.

In addition, we introduce refreshment leave, to keep our employees healthy and stimulate their self-development to increase their motivation and efficiency in their work.

Energy Reduction Initiatives

We implement energy-saving equipment such as cogeneration systems, high-efficiency production facilities, energy management systems, and energy-saving boilers to reduce fossil energy as much as possible. Furthermore, we use waste oil from manufacturing losses as boiler fuel to reduce CO2 emissions.

Basic Environmental Policy

Ueda Oils & Fats Mfg. Co., Ltd. recognizes that environmental protection on a global scale is a common issue for all humankind. Under the policy of global environmental conservation and contribution to local communities based on the company’s code of conduct, we have established the following basic environmental policies to minimize environmental burden through all business activities.

  1. We will comply with relevant laws and regulations. In addition, we will strive to prevent pollution and endeavor to consider about the environment by setting voluntary standards whenever possible.
  2. We will work to conserve the environment through our business activities based on the environmental protection plan.

    • ２）We will promote waste reduction and recycling.
    • ３）We will actively promote green purchasing and manufacture products that are less harmful to the environment.
  3. Through communication with the local community, we will actively promote cooperation in environmental conservation activities in the local community.
  4. We will establish an organization and system in which all employees can participate, establish and promote a specific action plan to achieve our environmental goals.
  5. We will educate and enlighten all people involved in Ueda Oils & Fats Mfg. Co., Ltd. to understand and disseminate this basic environmental policy to raise awareness and improve activities.
  6. We will disclose this basic environmental policy to everyone and strive to provide appropriate information.
